Okay--I LOVE a satchel style purse, and they're hard to find right now. I have relatively small arms, so I can use the smaller straps on my shoulder. I immediately removed the long strap, and I will probably NEVER use it. (It's a pet peeve to have two straps showing--if there was a way to remove both, I'd switch, but with this style, I remove the larger strap.) As others have said, it's not structured, so if you don't like a slouchy bag, then this one isn't for you. I have those little hooks on the back of my car seats, so I hang the bag when I'm driving. There was no smell when I opened it, but the leather is soft and feels genuine, so fingers crossed. I've been meaning to buy a gray bag for years, so that's the one I bought. I'd love it if this bag came in white or cream. If it continues to hold up well, I won't hesitate to buy the pink one next spring. Great purchase so far!
